Collaboration with Haverstock School
We’re pleased to announce that the Governing Bodies of Haverstock School and the Camden Centre for Learning KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Units and Special School (CCfL) have agreed to work in partnership from January 2022 under the leadership of an Executive Headteacher, James Hadley.
Angela was planning to move on from her post as Director this academic year, so Angela and James have been working together to plan for a sustainable and successful future for CCfL when her tenure ends later this year.
We have both been working on this proposal since the conference in May with the vision of delivering an ‘integrated and connected’ model similar to the primary model at the Netley Campus.
We believe this is an exciting development for education in the borough and, in particular, for the students of both Haverstock and CCfL. It will mean we can give more opportunities to CCfL’s students, and we can make a more integrated offer to any Camden student who is finding it hard in a mainstream school. We’re hoping that, by working together, we’ll find more ways to engage and encourage young people in their learning.
We look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure that this model is a success.
